From the North Georgia Live Steamers archives the DMTRR Doe Bridge

From the archives of NGLS we find the Doe Bridge which was originally built and installed for our original railroad the Duluth & Mount Tabor Railways. The bridge was removed when the DMTRR was dismantled and is currently being restored in preparation of its new home on the Conyers & Hightower Trail Railroad.

The bridge was removed when the DMTRR was dismantled and is currently being restored in preparation of its new home on the Conyers & Hightower Trail Railroad. The Doe Bridge will be used as part of the passenger line and will be the last bridge before passenger trains enter the station. Here is a look back at the bridges when it was part of the DMTRR.

The trestle was dismantled and moved to our new site in Conyers where it is now being used as three separate bridges.
