About our Public Ride Days
North Georgia Live Steamers (NGLS) operates several train ride days a year on select Saturday’s. The dates vary each year but typically include select days in April, May, October, and November from 1 to 4:30 p.m. each day. To satisfy insurance requirements, anyone that rides the railroad will have to sign a release. To help cover the cost of insurance and operating cost train rides are $2.00 per person per ride on the railroad. Cash Only. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization we also accept donations which goes towards special projects, railroad education and history. Tickets are available for sale at the railroad only during ride days. Must be 18 months or older to ride on the railroad. We also cannot allow expectant mothers to ride on the railroad.
We do have restroom facilities and offer light snacks and drinks for sale.
