Mark your calendar for the 2nd annual NGLS Fall Meet will be held Thursday, October 20thst through Sunday October 23rd. Additional details about the event will follow but for now here is what we have so far. This event is NOT part of our Public Train Ride events and not open to the general public.

Accommodations:
We have limited room for RV’s and trailers onsite however overflow space will be available at the RV parking area located at the Georgia International Horse Park facility which is about a mile down the road. For those wishing to stay in a hotel here are two options with others within a 5 mile radius of the railroad.
Hawthorn Suites (Across street from railroad)- 1659 Centennial Olympic Prkway, Conyers, Georgia 30013

Room with 1 King Bed - $99 per night

Visiting Trains:
All trains are welcome but for steam engines an on-site hydro-static test will be REQUIRED. The test will be performed by NGLS. There is no cost for the test, it will be performed and documented same as we do for our own equipment and you will get a copy of the inspection certificate which is valid the duration of the meet.
Loading / Unloading
North Georgia Live Steamers has a hydraulic car lift that will support up to 60-feet of train loaded across three 20-foot sections of track.
